My old stopwatch stopped working after one rainy track meet. TempoGuard has kept perfect time through downpours all season, and my athletes trust every split I call.

What our 17,000+ Customers say
Based On Real and Honest Experiences
I switch between TempoGuard's stopwatch, countdown, and pacer modes for three different age groups without missing a beat. No app to open, no notifications, just simple timing that keeps up with practice.
Marcus T.Verified Buyer
I was skeptical a stopwatch this affordable could survive middle schoolers, but TempoGuard has been dropped more times than I can count and still works perfectly. Best budget buy I've made for my classroom.

Q1 Is TempoGuard waterproof for pool use?
Yes. TempoGuard is built to keep working through rain, splashes, and wet hands, so poolside coaching and rainy track meets won't slow you down.
Q2 Is the display easy to read in bright sunlight on the track?
Yes. The oversized, high-contrast numbers stay clear from 15+ feet away, even in direct sun, so you're never squinting between reps or races.
Q3 What's the difference between TempoGuard and the $12 ones on Amazon?
The $12 timers are the ones coaches end up replacing every few months. TempoGuard's rugged, drop-resistant build is made to survive daily coaching instead of quitting on you.
Q4 What timing modes does it offer?
TempoGuard includes stopwatch, countdown, and pacer modes in one device, so you're covered for intervals, drills, and everyday timing needs.
Q5 Will it survive being dropped?
Yes. Its rugged housing is built to handle accidental drops on the track, pool deck, or gym floor, so daily wear and tear won't affect performance.
Q6 Does it come with a lanyard or neck strap?
Yes, every TempoGuard ships with a secure lanyard so it stays within reach, whether it's around your neck or clipped to your bag between drills.
Q7 How accurate is TempoGuard compared to phone timers?
TempoGuard responds the instant you press it, with none of the lag, notifications, or dimming screens that slow down phone timers. Like any manual stopwatch, accuracy still depends on your own reaction speed.
Q8 How long does the battery actually last with daily coaching use?
TempoGuard is built for months of dependable use per battery, even with daily practices and meets, so you're not scrambling for a replacement mid-season.
