I was skeptical about the steam, but my husky actually sat still for the whole SteamCoat session instead of fighting it like before. It pulled out piles of undercoat with zero pulling or yelping, nothing like my old brush. House already feels less furry.

What our 17,000+ Customers say

Based On Real and Honest Experiences

I was skeptical about the steam, but my husky actually sat still for the whole SteamCoat session instead of fighting it like before. It pulled out piles of undercoat with zero pulling or yelping, nothing like my old brush. House already feels less furry.

Sarah M.Verified Buyer

This SteamCoat pulled out way more loose hair in one session than my old brush ever managed. My Lab's coat already looks shinier, and the self-cleaning button is genius, just push it and the fur falls straight into the trash.

Marcus T.Verified Buyer

My rescue used to bite at the brush the second it came out. With SteamCoat's gentle mist he actually leans into it now instead of flinching away. Huge relief for a dog with such sensitive skin.

Frequently Asked Questions

verified +347 experts reviewed it as the best choice in 2026
Q1 How often should I use SteamCoat on my dog?
During heavy shedding seasons, aim for 2 to 3 sessions a week. Once your dog's coat settles down, a weekly session keeps loose fur under control.
Q2 Will the steam be too hot for my dog's skin?
No, SteamCoat's steam stays at a gentle, controlled temperature built to feel comfortable, not hot. It simply loosens dead fur and calms irritation, with no risk of burning your dog's skin.
Q3 Is SteamCoat worth it compared to cheaper brushes online?
The steam and self-cleaning system are what set SteamCoat apart from bargain brushes. Many budget tools have weak mist or clog fast, while SteamCoat is built for consistent, gentler results session after session.
Q4 How long does the battery last on a full charge?
One full charge gives you roughly 45 to 60 minutes of grooming time, plenty for several sessions before you need to plug it back in.
Q5 Will this work on my long-haired dog?
Yes. The angled stainless-steel teeth are built to glide through long, thick fur and clear loose undercoat without snagging or tugging.
Q6 Does SteamCoat work on double-coated breeds like Huskies or German Shepherds?
Yes, the steam and stainless-steel teeth are built to reach dense double coats. Owners of Huskies, German Shepherds, and other heavy shedders report big piles of loosened undercoat with far less resistance than a dry brush.
Q7 How do I clean the fur out of the brush and the water tank?
Press the one-touch button to eject collected fur in seconds, no picking it out by hand. Rinse the comb head under water and empty any leftover water from the tank after each session.
Q8 Will this reduce hair on my furniture and clothes, not just during brushing?
Yes. Every session pulls loose fur out before it has the chance to shed naturally around your home, so many owners notice less hair on furniture, floors, and clothes with regular use.
