What Makes SonaVox Different
Bluetooth + 2.4 GHz Wireless
The base auto-switches between 2.4 GHz (sub-25 ms latency, lip-sync TV-perfect) and Bluetooth. Stable signal up to 30 ft through one interior wall, up to 100 ft line-of-sight. No router, no firmware update breaking your evening.
Plugs Into Any TV Made Since 2000
The base has all three audio ports your TV is likely to have: optical (digital), RCA (red and white analog), and 3.5 mm AUX (headphone). Match one of the included cables to the port on the back of your TV. No adapters, no extra purchases.
0.5 lb Lightweight Build
227-gram frame with memory-foam ear cushions. Wears over glasses or behind-the-ear hearing aids without hot spots. Tested 4 hours straight in our session, no pressure marks, no headache.
Charge-and-Store Base
The base does double duty — wireless transmitter and charging dock. Drop the headphones on top when you are done, and they recharge automatically. 15 minutes on the dock is enough for 3 hours of listening. Like setting your cordless phone back on the cradle.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does the battery last?
How long does the battery last?
Up to 20 hours of continuous listening on a full charge. A 15-minute drop on the base gives you about 3 hours back — enough for the evening news plus a movie. Drop them on the base when you are done and they are ready for tomorrow.
Will SonaVox work with my TV?
Will SonaVox work with my TV?
Yes for any TV made since 2000. The base has three audio inputs — optical (the small square port labeled Digital Audio Out), RCA (the red and white round jacks), and 3.5 mm AUX (the headphone jack). Your TV almost certainly has at least one. If you are unsure, look at the back of the TV for any port labeled Audio Out. One of our three cables will fit.
Is there any audio delay or lip-sync mismatch?
Is there any audio delay or lip-sync mismatch?
No. The 2.4 GHz wireless mode runs under 25 milliseconds of audio delay — well below the 40 ms threshold where lip-sync becomes noticeable. Bluetooth-only headphones typically run 100-200 ms, which is why dialogue can look out of sync. SonaVox stays tight.
Will SonaVox work with my hearing aids?
Will SonaVox work with my hearing aids?
Yes, two ways. Most behind-the-ear and receiver-in-canal hearing-aid wearers wear SonaVox directly over their hearing aids — the ear cup is deep enough to clear the receiver without crushing it. Some users prefer to remove their hearing aids and let the headphone drivers handle the amplification on their own — this works best with mild-to-moderate hearing loss and the voice-clarifying mode ON. SonaVox does not pair directly with MFi hearing aids via Bluetooth.
What if my TV only has HDMI ARC and no optical, RCA, or AUX?
What if my TV only has HDMI ARC and no optical, RCA, or AUX?
Most TVs made since 2000 have at least one of the three audio outputs SonaVox uses. If your TV has ONLY HDMI ARC, you have two options: (1) connect the optical cable to your soundbar's optical-out instead of the TV; or (2) use an inexpensive HDMI-ARC-to-optical adapter. We recommend option 1 because it preserves the soundbar's processing. SonaVox does not connect via HDMI directly.
How far can I walk from the base before audio cuts out?
How far can I walk from the base before audio cuts out?
Up to 30 feet stable through one interior wall — that covers most living rooms and reaches into an adjacent kitchen or hallway. Up to 100 feet line-of-sight (no walls). The signal does NOT pass through more than one wall reliably; if you walk into a closed bedroom or downstairs, audio will drop. For typical TV-watching geometry — recliner to base, recliner to nearby kitchen — you will not notice an interruption.
Do I need an app, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth pairing?
Do I need an app, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth pairing?
None. Plug-and-play. No app, no Wi-Fi, no Bluetooth pairing. Connect the base to your TV with one of the three included cables, drop the headphones on the base for a moment to pair, lift them off, and you are listening. Setup is under 90 seconds for a first-time user.
What if I am buying this as a gift and they do not like it?
What if I am buying this as a gift and they do not like it?
We offer a 60-day return window with no restocking fee. Many of our customers are adult children buying for an aging parent who is reluctant to try new tech — if Dad does not take to SonaVox, return it within 60 days for a full refund. Keep the box and original cables for the return. Most users who keep them past two weeks become permanent users.
