Frequently Asked Questions

verified +347 experts reviewed it as the best choice in 2026
Q1 How many links do I need for my waist, and how do I measure?
Measure your waist, then match it to the chart: 13 links for 26 in (66 cm), 17 links for 33 in (84 cm), 24 links for 47 in (119 cm). Extra links snap off to fine tune the fit.
Q2 How do I choose my link count and color?
Choose your link count by your waist first, using the chart above. Then pick a color: purple, green, pink, teal or blue, with black only in 24 links.
Q3 Is it quiet enough for an apartment?
The wheel slider rolls on 360° rotating axles with bearings, made for silent operation, so you can hoop in your living room.
Q4 I can't hula hoop. Will I be able to learn?
You size the circle to your own waist, so you aren't fighting a hoop that's too big, and the slider rolls smoothly so the ball keeps gliding as you rock your hips.
Q5 How do I assemble it?
Press the buckle to connect links, put the slider in the track, close the circle. There is nothing to charge or plug in.
Q6 I have a larger waist. Will it fit?
Yes, the chart goes up to a 47 in (119 cm) waist with 24 links, and extra links snap on or off to fine-tune the fit.
Q7 Does it need batteries or charging?
No. It's fully mechanical, made of ABS links, a wheel slider and a weighted ball, so there's nothing to charge or plug in.
