Frequently Asked Questions

verified +347 experts reviewed it as the best choice in 2026
Q1 Can I really read hands-free in bed?
Yes. The light hangs around your neck, and its two bendable arms let you aim the LED heads at your page. Both hands stay free to hold the book and turn pages.
Q2 Which light colors does it have?
Three: cool white, warm white and yellow. A separate color button on the neck band switches between them, so you can pick a warmer glow for late-night reading.
Q3 Will it be too bright for bedtime?
You control it. Three brightness levels, low, medium and high, are set with the button on the arm. The light puts out 180 lumens, so you can start soft and go brighter only if you want.
Q4 How do I charge it?
Plug the included USB-C to USB-A cable into a USB power source you already own. The battery is built in, so there are no batteries to swap and no cord while you read.
Q5 Is it comfortable to wear around my neck?
The light rests around your neck on a soft textured pad at the back of the band, with a lightweight ABS and PC plastic body. Then you bend the arms to aim the light at your page.
Q6 Is it easy to use?
Yes. Charge it over USB-C, hang it around your neck and bend the arms onto your page. Use the arm button for brightness and the band button for color.
Q7 Is it splash resistant?
It is rated IP55, which means splash and dust resistant. Light spills and dusty shelves are fine, but it is not made to be submerged, so keep it out of the sink.
Q8 Who is this light for?
Anyone who reads in bed at night and wants both hands free. Hang it on your neck, aim the two arms at the page, then choose your color and brightness. It comes in Black or Gray.
