We lost power for four hours during a storm and I was sure LarkWave would reset like our old clock always did. It didn't. Both alarms and the time were exactly right when the power came back.

What our 17,000+ Customers say
Based On Real and Honest Experiences
Waking up to gentle light instead of a beep is so much better with LarkWave. The dimmer setting actually helps at night too, and it's held up with zero issues for months now.
Elena R.Verified Buyer
My last clock radio died after about a year, so I wasn't expecting much from LarkWave. It feels sturdier, the dim setting is actually usable at night, and the radio is clear enough for falling asleep to talk shows.

Q1 How does the sunrise wake-up light work?
Thirty minutes before your alarm, the display gradually brightens like a sunrise instead of jolting you awake with a beep. You wake up already calm, not startled out of sleep.
Q2 Will LarkWave still work during a power outage?
Yes. LarkWave plugs into AC power, but a built-in backup with 2 AA batteries (not included) keeps your clock and both alarms set through outages, so a blackout won't cost you your alarm.
Q3 Does LarkWave need WiFi, Bluetooth, or an app to work?
No. LarkWave runs on simple FM radio, not WiFi, Bluetooth, or an app. If you want to connect another device, use the audio input jack instead.
Q4 Can I set different alarms for me and my partner?
Yes. Press Alarm 1 and Alarm 2 to set each person's wake time, then use Week/Weekend to choose the right days. Each alarm also has its own volume, so you can set them independently.
Q5 Is the radio AM or FM, and how's the reception in a bedroom?
LarkWave tunes FM only, with 20 presets so you are not hunting for a signal every night. Most bedrooms get clear reception within 20 to 30 miles of a broadcast tower, though walls and location can affect it.
Q6 How long will LarkWave last before it breaks like my old one?
We hear that concern a lot. LarkWave uses a dedicated battery compartment and separate Alarm 1 and Alarm 2 buttons instead of flimsy multi-function parts, so it is built to stay on your nightstand for years, not months.
Q7 How do you dim the display? Is it actually dark enough to sleep?
A built-in brightness control lets you dim the display at night without an app. It will not go pitch black, but the lowest setting cuts the glow while keeping the time easy to read in the dark.
Q8 Does LarkWave have a USB port to charge my phone?
Yes. LarkWave has two 2.4A USB ports built in, so you can charge your phone and another device overnight without extra cables cluttering your nightstand.
