I lost a cheap cleat out on the ice last season and swore I was done with them. IceFang actually stays put, it's sized to fit my boots instead of just my shoes, and it hasn't budged all winter.

What our 17,000+ Customers say

Based On Real and Honest Experiences

I lost a cheap cleat out on the ice last season and swore I was done with them. IceFang actually stays put, it's sized to fit my boots instead of just my shoes, and it hasn't budged all winter.

Karen L.Verified Buyer

Our driveway turns into a skating rink every winter and I used to shuffle across it like a penguin. With IceFang strapped over my boots I walk normally again, no more white-knuckle trips to get the mail.

Derek M.Verified Buyer

I've got big feet and finding cleats that actually fit right has always been a pain. IceFang's straps stretched enough to lock in tight, and two winters later mine still haven't cracked or come loose once.

Frequently Asked Questions

verified +347 experts reviewed it as the best choice in 2026
Q1 Will IceFang fit over bulky winter boots or muck boots?
Yes. The straps adjust through front and back holes to fit shoe sizes 30 to 50, so IceFang locks down over hiking boots, muck boots, and other bulky winter boots. Use the wrench to dial in a snug fit over thick soles.
Q2 How long will the straps and teeth last before they wear out?
The manganese steel teeth resist wear and the reinforced nylon straps stay flexible instead of cracking or fraying in sub-zero cold, so IceFang holds up season after season rather than falling apart after one winter.
Q3 Can I wear IceFang inside without scratching my floors?
The steel teeth are built to bite ice, so they can scratch hardwood, tile, or other hard flooring. The stainless steel buckles let you strap in or out in seconds, so pop them off at the door and step inside safely.
Q4 Do these grip black ice, or only packed snow?
Both. The ten manganese steel teeth stand 29mm tall and dig into hard black ice the way baseball cleats bite a frozen infield, not only soft snow.
Q5 Are IceFang good for ice fishing? Will they stay on if I run for a flag?
Yes. The heel strap and locking buckle keep IceFang snug even when you're moving fast across the ice, and the ten steel teeth bite in with every step, whether you're walking to your spot or sprinting after a flag.
Q6 How should I clean and store my cleats?
Rinse off road salt and ice debris after each use, then let them dry fully before storing in the included storage bag. The stainless steel buckles hold up well on their own; check the straps and buckles between uses for wear.
Q7 Will IceFang stay on, or slip off like my old cleats did?
IceFang locks down with a heel strap and a stainless steel buckle, then the included wrench lets you fine-tune the fit until it stops shifting on your foot. Lock it in once and it stays locked in, walk after walk.
Q8 Will these help if I have balance issues or worry about falling?
IceFang's steel teeth grip through the slippery moments that cause hesitant, shuffling steps. It won't replace medical advice, but many people wear ice cleats like these specifically to feel steadier on icy sidewalks and driveways.
