What our 17,000+ Customers say
Based On Real and Honest Experiences
I run a small hobby farm and needed something to keep coyotes away from the chicken coop. HowlGuard's motion sensors caught every approach, and the alarm sounds sent them running every time.
Daniel R.Verified Buyer
Honestly I was skeptical a light-and-sound gadget could do much, but HowlGuard proved me wrong fast. It's weatherproof, easy to mount, and has kept stray animals off my porch for months now.

Q1 How much area does one HowlGuard unit cover?
Thanks to its 360° triple-sensor array, one HowlGuard covers a wide detection radius around its mounting point. For larger properties, we recommend placing multiple units to eliminate blind spots completely.

Absolutely. HowlGuard carries an IP67 waterproof rating, meaning it's engineered to handle heavy rain, snow, dust, and extreme temperatures without missing a beat, all year round.
Q3 How many sounds can I use, and can I record my own?
You get 13 built-in deterrent sounds to choose from, including barking dogs and warning blasts. You can also record a custom 20-second message for a personalized touch.
Q4 Is installation complicated?
Not at all. HowlGuard mounts in minutes with the included hardware and requires no wiring or professional help — just secure it, power it on, and you're protected.
Q5 Does HowlGuard hold any safety certifications?
Yes, it's been independently lab-tested and holds CE, RoHS, and FCC certifications, so you can trust it meets strict international safety and environmental standards.
Q6 Will HowlGuard harm animals or pets?
Never. HowlGuard relies entirely on startling light and sound to deter animals — no chemicals, shocks, or traps involved, making it completely safe for pets and wildlife alike.
Q7 How long does the battery last without sunlight?
The solar panel keeps the internal battery topped up during daylight, storing enough charge for cloudy stretches. If needed, simply plug in the USB cable for uninterrupted backup power.
Q8 Can I use HowlGuard indoors too?
Yes, HowlGuard works great indoors as well. Just use the USB charging option since it won't have direct access to sunlight for the solar panel.
