Frequently Asked Questions

verified +347 experts reviewed it as the best choice in 2026
Q1 Will it work for my jewelry?
Yes, jewelry is one of the things this box is made for. The built-in light is soft rather than harsh, and you can try different backdrops behind your piece to see which one shows it off best.
Q2 Is it big enough for my items?
Measure your largest item first. The box comes in 7.9 in (20 cm) and 11.8 in (30 cm); go up a size if your piece is borderline.
Q3 Do I need extra lights?
No. The LED light is built in, so once the box is unfolded you are ready to shoot without setting up other lamps around it.
Q4 Is it complicated to set up?
No. Unfold the box, set a colored backdrop behind your item and switch on the light. It is ready to shoot once unfolded, with no extra lighting to arrange.
Q5 Can I take it to a market or a friend's place?
Yes. It folds flat and comes with a handbag, so it travels easily to a market table or a friend's place and goes back in a drawer when you are done.
Q6 Which backdrop should I start with?
Try one that contrasts with your item: a light backdrop behind a dark piece, a darker one behind a light piece. Swap until your item stands out.
